It’s been ten years since the first time I strapped into a snowboard. That day I fell in love with the sport, and ever since I have only become more and more stoked as I have been progressing more and more! I started competing when I was fifteen, only going to one or two competitions each year. But in 2009 I was able to go to 9 events across Ontario. I placed 4th the premature jibulation at Glen Eden 2008, 2nd at AOS Slopestyle at Mount Saint Louis 2009, and 3rd at the Telus Triple Challenge Rail Jam at Blue Mountain 2009.

Getting coached by one of the world’s best snowboarders this summer (Matt Belzile – Westbeach Rider) was epic! He taught me proper technique of doing tricks that I thought I had down. It was so rad because it gave me alot of confidence to teach new young riders. I think that the Evolve Freestyle Academy is the best program around. I cant wait to give back to the snowboarding community this winter.
